We’ll discuss the concerns you have noticed, what you hope to understand and whether a full diagnostic assessment is the most appropriate option.

Questionnaires are completed by you, your child and their school, helping me build a full picture of their strengths, needs and learning history.

The assessment usually takes approximately 3–4 hours, including regular breaks, in a calm and supportive environment.

You’ll receive a detailed diagnostic report within approximately 3–6 weeks, with clear recommendations for home and school. A 30-minute feedback session is available if needed.

Full Diagnostic Dyslexia Assessment

Includes pre-assessment information gathering, approximately 3–4 hours of one-to-one assessment with regular breaks, a comprehensive diagnostic report and practical recommendations for home and school.

Assessments are conducted and reports are written in accordance with current SASC guidance for diagnostic assessment and report writing. As a qualified Specialist Teacher Assessor holding AMBDA and a current Assessment Practising Certificate (APC), I undertake regular professional development to keep my knowledge and practice up to date.

The detailed report clearly explains the assessment findings and provides a professional conclusion about whether your child’s profile is consistent with dyslexia.

Reports are completed within 3 - 6 weeks.
